The travel vlogger chasing world record with 'low-mobility passport' - BBC Africa
Nigerian travel content creator Alma Asinobi is on a mission to break a Guinness World Record by visiting all seven continents in under 60 hours. But beyond speed, her journey highlights the struggles of “low-mobility” passport holders, like Nigerians, who face visa restrictions and travel barriers.
To secure the 10 visas needed for this challenge, Asinobi had to travel to other countries, underscoring the difficulties of holding a passport that suffers restrictions. According to the 2025 Henley Passport Index, which ranks 199 countries by travel freedom, Nigeria sits at 88th place, tied with Ethiopia and Myanmar.
