TASK FORCE PROBES ALLEGED MALPRACTICE IN TISSUE AND ORGAN TRANSPLANTS IN UASIN GISHU

Stakeholders and Members of the public in Eldoret have begun submitting their views regarding potential malpractice and ethical violations in organ transplant procedures to the Independent and Investigative Committee on Tissue and Organ Transplant Services. Speaking on Monday during the commencement of the four-day public participation exercise on cell tissue and organ transplant services in Kenya, Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, the Committee Chairperson Professor Elizabeth Bukusi indicated that they are investigating allegations, reviewing the legal and ethical framework, and auditing relevant documents to ensure the safety and rights of all the people involved.
