STOLEN LIQUOR WORTH SH 4.5 MILLION RECOVERED AND TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN NANYUKI
Police in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, have recovered Ksh4.5 million worth of bottles of liquor believed to have been stolen from a local depot.
Speaking to the press, Laikipia East Sub county police Commander Daniel Kitavi said that they nabbed two suspects after a tip off from the members of the public. The suspects are expected to be arraigned in court.
Kitavi revealed that the total amount of beer stolen was about Sh7.5 million and the investigation was still ongoing to recover the rest.
