The Garissa university community has launched a community policing initiative aimed at enhancing the relationship between the public and the police to address incidents of insecurity. The initiative dubbed `Usalama ni Uaminifu` further aims to foster collaboration, trust and shared responsibilities towards boosting campus security as well as community resilience.
